1. Passport

  • Must have a valid passport
  • Validity at least 1 year or more
  • Color photocopies and scanned copies should be kept

 

2. Offer Letter / Confirmation Letter (Offer/Acceptance Letter)

  • I want an offer letter from a foreign university/college
  • E-mail copy, printed copy, PDF—save all versions

 

3. Financial Support Documents

  • Bank Statement (usually 6 months old)
  • Sponsor’s Balance Certificate
  • If you are getting a scholarship, its documents
  • Solvency Certificate: Which will prove that you have the ability to bear the cost of your studies

 

4. Visa Application Files

  • Visa Form filled in as per the specific country’s form
  • Photo (white background, specified size)
  • Cover Letter (briefly writing your objectives and plans)
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Academic Documents (SSC, HSC, Honours etc.)
  • IELTS/TOEFL Score Report

 

5. Medical Certificate (if required)

  • Some countries (such as Australia, Canada) require a medical fitness report
  • Immunization or vaccine report may be required

 

6. Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

  • Apply to your local police station and collect
  • Keep the English translated copy notarized

 

7. Hostel / Accommodation Booking Paper (Accommodation Letter)

  • Where will you stay – Hostel booking or invitation letter from friends
  • This is mandatory for visa applications from some countries

 

8. Visa fee and application deposit receipt (Receipt Copy)

  • Visa fee deposit receipt
  • Print out the confirmation and Appointment Letter received by email

 

9. Flight Booking / Travel Plan (Tentative Air Ticket)

  • Buy the final ticket after the visa
  • However, many countries want to see the Tentative Booking during the visa

 

10. Country-Specific Documents (Optional but Important)

Example:

  • GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) for Australia
  • CAQ for Quebec (Canada)
  • Tuberculosis Test Report for UK
