Documents required for travel and preparation:

 

1. Passport

  • Must be valid for at least 6 months
  • Original copy + color photocopy (2-3 copies)
  • Keep it safe, travel is risky if lost

 

2. Visa (Visa Sticker / E-Visa / Approval Letter)

  • A visa for a specific country is required
  • If it is an e-visa, print out the PDF copy
  • Hajj/Umrah, Shenzhen, US, Dubai—everyone has different rules

 

3. Flight ticket (Confirmed Air Ticket)

  • It is better to have a round-trip ticket
  • Keep a soft copy on your mobile and a printed copy in hand
  • Ask at the time of boarding

 

4. Hotel booking / accommodation address

  • It is better if you can show a booking for at least 2-3 days
  • If you have relatives, write down their address and phone number
  • The immigration officer may ask

 

5. Bank statement and money account

  • To enter many countries, you need to provide proof that you have enough money
  • 6 months of bank statement, travel card, cash Dollar
  • If you go to Europe/America, you need to have funds equivalent to 20-30 thousand taka

 

6. Invitation letter (if any)

  • If you get an invitation from a relative or friend
  • Keep their address, ID copy, and invitation card with you
  • Especially in case of family visit visa

 

7. Vaccination and health certificate

  • Covid-19 Vaccine Certificate is still required in many countries
  • If you go for Hajj/Umrah, Meningitis and Yellow Fever Vaccine may be required
  • Keep the vaccination certificate and test report

 

8. Travel Insurance

  • Compulsory for travel to Schengen countries in Europe
  • As an extra security in other countries
  • If possible, take at least 1 month insurance

 

9. National Identity Card (NID) and other ID copies

  • To confirm Bangladeshi identity
  • You can keep a color copy of the online NID
  • It is useful to keep your identity as a traveler

 

10. Emergency Contact Details

  • Your country, Relative/Friend Number
  • Bangladesh Embassy Number (Destination Country)
  • For immediate contact if necessary
